An Inman, South Carolina native, Deebo garnered interest from across the country as he compiled 166 catches for 2,751 yards and 36 touchdowns in his four years at Chapman High School.

Tabbed as high as the No. 35 wide receiver in the nation and No. 5 player in the state (Rivals), Deebo continued his football career in his home state at the University of South Carolina.

At the next level, Deebo continued to show off his explosiveness with a combined 148 receptions, 3,457 all-purpose yards and 39 total touchdowns across five years with the Gamecocks, all of which rank top-10 in program history. As a senior, Deebo saw a career year that included 62 catches for 882 yards and 11 touchdowns as well as a passing touchdown. He’d go on to be named both the First Team All-SEC as an all-purpose player and the Second Team All-SEC as a wide receiver. Additionally, Deebo made First Team All-America as an all-purpose player and Second Team All-America as a kick returner.

With a stacked college resume, Deebo entered the 2019 NFL draft and was selected with the 36th overall pick by the San Francisco 49ers. In just his rookie season, Deebo was quick to turn heads as he finished the year with 81 catches for 802 yards and three touchdowns as well as 159 rushing yards and helped the 49ers win the NFC West for the first time since 2012. He continued his impressive campaign in the postseason in which he registered 10 catches for 127 yards along with 102 rushing yards. As San Francisco reached the Super Bowl for the first time in seven years, Deebo added three catches for 42 yards and a rush for six yards in the game.

Despite an injury the following season, Deebo ended 2020 with 44 receptions for 391 yards and a touchdown across seven games
